November is always a really exciting month at Piñata because it means one thing - the first Honey Gold Mangoes for the season will be hitting the shelves!! Honey Gold production begins in Katherine in the Northern Territory in mid-November and continues down to Mataranka in the Northern Territory. Production from these two regions will last for about four weeks. There may be some early Queensland out of the Burdekin region that could sneak into late November as well.
The quality of the Honey Gold Mangoes out of the Northern Territory. Katherine and Mataranka are excellent growing conditions, with warm temperatues and minimal rain. Right from the very first Honey Gold the flavour, taste and texture will be amazing!
Piñata Pineapple production in November will be predominantly out of Mareeba in North Queensland. With the weather warming up, production out of South East Queensland slows down. The Mareeba Gold Pineapples that Piñata grow have been referred to as the 'sweetest in Australia' and around the late Spring/Summer months the quality and taste of the pineapples is exceptional!
With Summer officially only a month away, it's time to start tucking into the delicious tropical produce that Piñata makes available to you every day!
