History
of Mareeba Gold
Mareeba Gold follows a long tradition by Piñata in growing
high quality pineapples. After a trip to Hawaii in the 1980s, Piñata
discovered a pineapple could be grown that is low in acid, high
in sweetness and appealing to everyone.
Ten years ago
Piñata started developing the new variety and it now grows
on their farms in Mareeba, North Queensland. return
