Gavin Scurr

Managing Director

As a third generation pineapple farmer, Gavin’s passion for providing his consumers with the ultimate fruit eating experience has earned him tremendous respect from Australia’s major retailers – not to mention the respect of discerning consumers. Gavin is very hands-on in the daily operations of the Piñata Farms business and sits on industry boards including the Australian Mango Industry Association.

Stephen Scurr

NQ Operations Manager

Stephen is in charge of all operations out of Mareeba in North Queensland. As a co-owner of the business with Gavin, Stephen participated heavily in the business from a managerial position. In Mareeba he runs the pineapple farms and packing sheds, and spends time with the third-party Piñata Honey Gold growers in this region.

Danny Nightingale

National Sales Manager

With a background in FMCG’s in Australia and abroad, Danny boasts a wealth of experience and is the go-to man for B2B and B2C relations. Danny handles all day to day marketing at Piñata Farms, including all of the pineapple, strawberry and Honey Gold sales.

Rebecca Scurr

Product Co-ordinator

Rebecca joined the Piñata team full time at the end of 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Business Management at the University of Queensland. Her role primarily revolves around looking after the Honey Gold third-party growers, from anything to crop forecasts to pricing for fruit. She acts as a marketing assistant to Danny, contributing to marketing plans, Piñata rebranding and the day to day sales of pineapples, mangoes and strawberries.
